Background
I’ve always naturally leaned towards the ever-expanding worlds of digital entertainment and sports. And in doing so, the power of creative expression and storytelling has become an important motif I truly hold dear. I’ve chosen to carve my own path through the lens of storytelling, coverage, and opinionated expression within the cultural pillars of football, basketball, film, and gaming.
This passion has led me to pursue an Associate of Arts Degree in English from Citrus College, along with several certificates that reflect my success and dedication to the field. Soon after, I transferred to California State University, Northridge, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing with a 3.66 GPA, which granted me a prestigious spot on the Dean’s List. As of Fall 2026, I will begin a graduate program at CSUN to earn a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications.
Alongside my academic success, I was privileged to gain invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience in journalism and publishing through my internship at Los Angeles Magazine. During this golden opportunity, I wrote and published over 60 online articles centered around major Los Angeles-based sports franchises, such as the Rams, Chargers, Clippers, and Lakers. I also covered news for both video game and anime releases and events. I was fortunate to have an article of mine featured in the November 2025 physical issue of Los Angeles Magazine as well.
